Late Feb in the Garden

When I saw the weather this morning, I didn’t expect to be able to get out into the garden this afternoon. It just goes to show what difference a couple of hours can make. Before I closed up I decided to take a few shots of what’s flowering, surprisingly quite a lot.
The last picture is the ‘Fairy House’ we have created for Freya.

I know what you mean Karen. I hate the waiting too. I was really surprised at was in flower when I looked around. I'm sure you'll catch up soon and then it will be all systems go!

What a sweet little house - I bet Freya loves it! You've some lovely colour there -strange, your hellebores are ahead of ours but our heathers are almost over - mustn't grumble, they've been out for several months.

Thanks Stera; She does, she's convinced the fairies live there, bless her. I have another couple of Helle's which aren't showing at all. Chin up, spring will soon be here..

Your Hellebores are in lovely condition. Are they in pots in the greenhouse?

Love your magnificent Sarcococca! And the fairy door! You have some lovely established clumps of crocus and snowdrops there. I seem to be back to square 1 again after leaving a garden that was just beginning to mature. now I'm back to imagining, hoping and waiting. It's the waiting part I hate! Lol!
