I used to work at Heathrow Airport and eighteen years ago when we had the last snowfalls as heavy as these everything was delayed or cancelled because the snow ploughs could not be found. They were parked somewhere in the middle of the airfield covered in – WHITE TARPAULINS.

M, the usual excuse is that it's 'the wrong kind of snow'!!!
We don't often get this much snow all at once - so we are not geared up for it. Everything grinds to a halt.
Yes, I know Wimbledon very well - I went to College there! I don't know Siddlesham, though.I'll googlemap it and find out how far it is from us.

Hmmm - all I can find is Sidlesham in Sussex. There's a Silverton in Devon but that's the nearest I can find there

My Aunt worked at London Airport many years ago when I lived with her , she then moved to Australia .and then followed her son to New Zealand .. She was there for a long time ... We had BOAC on everything .. LOL ..
