???A damp October day.???

Beautiful colours it all looks lovely - we have had a gorgeous day here after all the rain in the last two days, hope you got some too :O) sunshine that is not the rain lol :O)

It was really warm this morning after 11, even gardened in my T shirt, got to be quite balmy for me to be that barmy! No rain here. Lots of colour in your garden.

You've some great colour there. The thought occurred to me today, that in a very short time now we will be raking up all those leaves! Still...keeps one fit. :)

Sometimes the wind gets in just the right direction to 'sweep' up the leaves for me.........I live in hope!
It depends how long I can put up with them! I think the rake is already leaning against the tree though, waiting!!!

What a wonderful show of colour,Chris..it must light up your days ,looking out on this..I do like the 3rd from the bottom..Sedum? it looks so dainty..and the two white Roses ,making a statement are lovely..A gorgeous vase of Flowers too..The washing will dry at some point,make the most of your lovely garden instead :o) xx

Mellow is the word isn't it - lovely soft warm colours.
Oh don't talk about leaf sweeping -we have loads already but the trees don't look any barer which makes sweeping up a bit disheartening as they'll all be back tomorrow...

Yes, a warm glow to the pictures. Some, but not all, of my pictures at Beth Chatto's last week had that nice autumn glow/colour and others just looked dull!!

I love the Autumn shades too Chris, what I dislike are the garden spider webs strung across everything! We have a clear blue sky today with a heavy dew on the grass.

I'm very fond of these autumn colours Chris they are over all to soon we already have leaves piling up under the big Acer King . I like your little leaf selection next to your title where do you get them from ? ,I'm not hugely clever with trying out different things on the computer !

Thanks to everyone for such encouraging comments. Our garden has had to take second place this year for a number of reasons and it is good to be able to see this rich colour out there, in spite of its neglect!

Amy, I am using an Apple I- pad and there are lots of little pictures to choose to add on to text! Lots of fun!

Thanks Chris , I don't have apple or I-pad only Microsoft 7 computer , I can use unicode character but it doesn't have such nice ones as yours they are mostly just different shaped letters .. :o( ☺

Wild rose your garden is looking so colourful and pretty, still quite green here, I love all those emoji, I can use them on my Nexus tablet, but cannot see how to add them on my Apple Mac, they are there but won't move, any ideas?

Ah yes, Amy, but Emails are a whole different thing, for example where are all those which never get delivered? Somebody must have them.

I don't mind the washing so much Rose, it's the ironing I hate. Still, it's a chance to catch up on all those things I've recorded which my OH doesn't like. Hope Rick is feeling his old self again soon.

I love my little pictures, but it took me a while to find them. On the laptop, a lot of them just produce squares - very disappointing.
