Such glorious weather.

We have waited a long time for this lovely spell of weather and I am enjoying it so very much. Trouble is we have a hose pipe ban in the south west – nothing the public has done wrong just mishandling by South West Water!! So, we need it to rain!!

Please take a quick look at my garden today.

Both photos were taken by the pond.

The roses are just starting to flower now.

The wisteria has done really well this year.

The lawn is full of daisies which look quite pretty!

Rhododendrons and Saxifrages growing in shady places.

We did go to the seaside this morning before the rush starts at the weekend. It looked beautiful in the sunshine.

Hope the sun is shining down on everybody and that you are all enjoying it as much as I am.

You have a beautiful garden, Wildrose! Some many roses also & they all look fabulous! Many are going over here as they have already been flowering for more than a month! Plenty more to come as yet!

Wisteria are so beautiful at this time of the year as well! Lots of them flowering around here - sadly not on my balcony though! 🙁

Love your garden, W'rose. The wisteria looks special. We are enjoying the sunshine, too. As you say, a long time coming. Typical of the water companies to mismanage the one job they are supposed to do: conserve water...

Chris, I so enjoyed viewing your garden photos ... you have some lovely plants. Michael guesses your seaside visit was to Bude ... :o)

A thank you to all of you for looking.
Meadowland the coastal photo came at the very end and Shirley please tell Michael he was correct - it was Bude!! We do like Bude very much and go there nearly every week.

All looking so lovely and healthy,Chris, and much further forward than here in W.Yorkshire ! I haven't seen a Rose in bloom around here yet!
We are actually desperate for water ,and both water butts are already only a quarter full, but luckily, I only have a few pots to look after at the moment,as I haven't bought my bedding plants yet..How good am I,for waiting till almost the end of May ?? .That's not like me at all ! Lol.

So glad you are enjoying the lovely weather too,so I hope it continues for you.Lovely here yesterday, but temps dropped down a lot today, and it was chilly till late afternoon.
I will reply to your email shortly, and thank you. xx

Lovely pics, Chris. You've a really pretty garden, your roses are to envy! Mine are still in bud.
Your wisteria is absolutely gorgeous too! It has a wonderful show of flowers - you must be very pleased!
I do like your lawn daisies, I'd certainly consider no mow May if I had a large patch!
Glad you took time to enjoy the seaside, looks very scenic and the perfect place for a leisurely walk too!

I enjoyed seeing your pretty garden. The Roses are lovely around here, they & the local Wisteria seems to have liked the wet winter. The Rhodos have been magnificent too. I like Bude.I have been several times. Going on a mystery tour to the coast tomorrow.I wonder where we’ll end up!

Bloomer our water butts are nearly empty now and no rain is forecast!! We are trying to collect as much spare water as we can!! Let me know when you have chosen your bedding plants.

Thank you Sheila ( all daisies have gone now for a couple of days or so, before they all reappear!)

Thank you Stroller I think we will have to wait for the rain to come down!! It goes from one of extreme to another!

Feverfew I hope you enjoyed your mystery tour - where did you end up?

Kate I missed you out - please forgive me. xx
The wisteria is now dropping hundreds of petals and is making such a mess right outside the kitchen door - honestly, gardens, they are SUCH hard work!!!

We ended up in Bognor, calling at Roland Castle garden Centre on the way. Also the driver got lost along narrow lanes of East & West Meon, so it was a bit of a mystery tour! Still we had a nice time by the sea 😊.

It sounds a lovely day out to me and as for the poor driver getting lost that must just have added to the fun!!
