You did pick a lovely walk....lots of boats on the canal too. I suppose everyone is gearing up for Easter break so all these kind of leisure faciities/hobbies will be getting very busy.

The opening shot of the trees all in bloom are so pretty too.

The trees are lovely,and the boats too.we haven't been there for ages.Its been such a beautful day..spent this afternoon at our daughters house,in the garden,of course I couldn't resist 'pottering' with a trowel..and keeping an eye on Thomas,now he is taking his first steps..and wanting to go on his slide all the time..erm,not as relaxing as I imagined it was going to be..should have come with you on your lovely walk.:o)))

I love canals. I grew up by a very neglected and overgrown one lol. It was full of wild flowers and very peaceful :o)
Your photos are lovely especially the first one. I love the old canal bridges, and it was nice to see the barges.

Yorkshire is this the canal near Middlestown, if it is my daughter is hopefully going to live there soon. She will love to walk along that canal side.

thanks everyone, so glad you enjoyed the walk with us, we met a lovely couple and just strolled along chatting as you do, yes Bloomer Mirfield, you are right, Olive Middlestown is about 5 miles from here, easy to find and get to, the canal I mean, I am sure she would enjoy the walk, and plenty of parking,,

thanks Holly. nice day here too, went to GC and got more onions, OH planted them, planted parsley, and just planted leek seed,done housework and he cleaned the car, quite a busy day.
