Willinilli, You can buy the new meterial at primrose online, apparently its easy to do yourself, mine is waterproof and sunproof..

Scottish, funny you should say that, ive been looking for (on ebay) macarame (sp) hanging baskets and i thought these have the same look, sort of :)))
PoppyL i can't capture the feel of this outdoor room with the camera, i just love it, it will look amazing in summer with flowers and lots more plants..

Just makes me think 'Colonial' ... love it! ... Your square planters look brilliant ... Well done on all your hard work, Ydd, think of those hot Summer days to be spent sitting out ... :o)

Those macramé basket thingies....gosh there's a memory. I think it was the only 'craft' I ever learned to do at school!

Thanks Avis, there was only one seller of the macrame hangers when i last looked Dec/jan. Arent they lovely, I liked the deep burgandy, Time warp lol, I just like the look of them, i think they would look good with my style of planting, ill go have another look i think :)

Ive been looking on google on how to make them, a bit complicated, those knots! there's also loads on youtube, im buzy watching a video now :)

OH yes! Oh that's lovely, you've made a brilliant job of it. Is the conservatory next door's YDD, or another part of your garden? I love it. The stripes are very fashionable at the mo. and wouldn't they look great with some potted sunflowers underneath? :)))) Smashing. I'm just going to pop down now for a glass of red if that's ok...only a couple of hours or so..... ;))

Its next doors conservatory karen, hub wants to put a dolid gate there but im not bothered, she keeps the blinds closed and never uses the gate..
Pour a white for me lol or a can of cold lager :))
