A Few Pics of my plants, Some I love, Some I like, and some I wont plant again :) Overall Im Happy with the borders, The Tall Foxgloves took a battering with the rain and i few snapped :( So ill stick to the smaller one’s next year, The Lupins are gorgeous as most of the flowers are, but i really dont like the Silver plants (forgot there name) ive cut them right back as they were growing a bit too big, overshadowing other plants.. I hope our weather changes soon so i can enjoy my gardens, rain forcast today some time, with 35mph winds…
And a couple of pics of some plant combinations from the back garden that i like :)

They're beautiful lush looking borders Ydd and some lovely blues and purple! I've had problems with plants blown over by the wind recently, particularly my Teasels which are about 7 ft tall!

Yes, Sandra, mine seem to get battered everyday recently but I'm managing to keep them propped up.The flower heads are just starting to colour up now!

...and by the way, the silver foliage shows off the colour of the bright flowers! Is it Stachys byzantina?? It's a good choice, anyway. :-)

Yeah Spritz your right, I love the soft velvety Leave's and the way it make's the sunny border look cool, its the flower spikes im not too fussed on, they were too tall for the front of the border, so i cut them off :))) What am I like..They are Strachys, next year ill look for smaller silver plants, i had some in my back garden last year that i liked but i didn't see any in the GCs, Ill have to find the Label ! And Thanks sandra..

A lovely garden, you must be very proud of it. I like Stachys too.....and so do the spuggies....to line their nests. The last one I had, they stripped down to the root tops..little b*******

Hahaha Amblealice.. The leave's would make a great nest, like lining it with fleece :))

WOW! I was so impressed with your border planting that I went through all your blog achives. What a difference! A lot of hard work and it surely has paid off. Absolutely fantastic. You have inspired me to put my before and after pics on here although I could learn a lot from you about planting schemes. Lol. Well done to you both.

Have to say YDD that your flowers look fantastic. I was looking to gravel a lot of the back garden with a barked woodland section under the conifers but now I'm thinking possibly less gravel and more flowers!
Really very nice planting Ydd, well done.

Aww thanks Oddbillie what a lovely comment, good luck with whatever you decide to plant in your garden :) .. Dee..

I love the wide selection of colours, gardens that stick to 2 or 3 colours tend to be a bit boring in my view. Well done Daisy :)
