BACK AND READY TO GO..........

Just back from our annual trip to France with our family, our three grandchildren and their parents had a fantastic time, in spite of our high speed ferry being cancelled (crashed into a buoy) unbeknown to us, so had to come back on a very basic ferry.
Our youngest daughter looked after the garden for us, which was a huge responsibility as there are over 50 pots to water and a jungle to look after, luckily the first week it rained most days, but nothing died and we were delighted with the results, not sure she would do it again, she said I dont know how you do it, she did not realize it can take two hours to water!!
Have put on some of our favourite pics of our holiday…

We got on the wrong road and ended up in a small village with some amazing floral displays.

The village was St Pierre sur Dives it was spotless and the displays immaculate in spite of the long hot summer it was a pleasure to be there.
The last pictures are of our favourite houses on the walk up to the ocean, which we did every day (trying to keep the weight down, after too much food and drink) in La Palmyre.

Last but certainly not least the Mairies House always the best in the village.

Have returned with lots of ideas for the garden, which we started yesterday will put on some pics when it is finished.
I hope you enjoyed the photos as much as we enjoyed taking them.
