Liking it very much! It's ever so fresh looking and brightens it up. As has been said makes the plants stand out more too.
I find that gravel escapes onto the lawn and is troublesome when mowing the lawn. I hope you've been pampering your OH after all his hard work :)

Oh Well done Peter ,it is hard work we've " been there done that " and still need take up more , it looks great and as you say the new growth will spill over softening the edges ..
