My OH has always fancied “a little sports car”…..At this stage in his life I thought it was about time he “realised!”some of his dreams….who knows what is “around the corner”.
With this in mind….we….on the way to do the weekly shop…..decided to have a look in one of the local garages…..bearing in mind our existing car was 12/14 years old….there was a lot more on offer…..
We drove up to a local garage…..got out of our “trusty Astra”…..and there it was…..waiting for us …..a lovely open top coupe………Meet “Betsy”…isn’t she pretty………we had a lovely drive round in her with the top down….. perifik weather,,,,,

Sorry...should have said..... its a Nissan Micra, 1.6 c+c sport. Its raining today so the top will have to be up...boo...hooo.....lol

Great idea getting a convertable ..No more wondering how to get that big plant back home...Justr put down the roof and away you go .Like on the antiques roadshow ..LOL...

Very nice Amblealice. I have a convertable, it's brill when you buy large items like trees. My sons bird table came home in it last week ;-))))

Its funny you should say that Mushy......When we were talking about buying this car Brian said "you won't be able to buy big plants any more".......smirk...lol
Its already been to the GC today and come away with 2 huge pots for my hedychiums that arrived thismorning.....and a large dahlia Twinnings After Eight.....:-o)))
He will of course read this and grumble....tee.hee...heee.......lol

Oh isn`t it lovely, I wouldn`t mind driving around in it myself. You CAN have big plants in the car, especially very tall ones...lol! ;o))
