Propagating, Propagating, Propagating!

I can’t stand to throw plant material away, I’m always propagating, propagating, propagating! If you could see my balcony, it’s full of trays of seedlings, pots with divisions, pots of cuttings, etc! I like Carol’s Klein’s way of propagating as she reminds me so much of myself!
Some Snapdragons I sowed a few weeks ago.
Here are some Ten Week Stocks I planted a week or two earlier.
Many pots have different kinds of plants in them because I push in a branch of this or that, it roots but I’ve forgotten about it till it gets big! Or I’ve pushed in a small bulb I’ve found then some leaves come up I don’t remember having planted.
Although they are difficult to see there are some little black pots of sunflower seedlings on the top shelf of the greenhouse!
A couple of years ago I picked up some broken off “leaves” of Christmas Cactus or Easter Cactus at a supermarket took them home & stuck them in a few pots, they rooted & now they are beginning to flower! The same has happened with African Violets, they root so easily!
About 7 years ago someone gave my wife some big red carnations, well I found a few offshoots on a few of the flowers & ever since then we haven’t been without big red Carnations on the balcony!
I propagate practically all my plants. I do buy in a few but very few. One year I decided I had enough variegated Geraniums to fill my balcony railing. Si I decided that’s exactly what I would do! I have ten clay pots in aluminum rings that fit of the railing. As I had two or three different varieties I alternated them one with another!
Here is the result:
I root Fuchsias & Geraniums all the time. I had an outbreak of Geranium Rust on many of my Geraniums, as there is no cure for it I had to throw all the plants away. I have only a few variegated Geraniums left for this year so at present I’m not sure what I shall put in my balcony. I could of course buy some more plants but I shall wait & see how my seedlings get on. It’s only the middle of April so there is still plenty of time for planting half hardy plants if I’m not satisfied with my seedlings.

Looks like you have enough for ten balconies - it'll be a picture again.

Wow I've only just found your blog - well done on all your efforts. You obviously have the green-fingered touch - I'm amazed that the carnations took off! Sounds like you'll never be short of plants just the space to propagate them.
