You do have some lovely established plants, obviously you have a large garden to accomodate them, love the small flower with the brown eyes though.

They each have a beauty of their own Bjs, not forgetting Jamie of course, wish I knew your secret with the wisteria, like Bik I have had no flowers been waiting since 2009.

My favourite is the last flower. Looks like butter wouldn't melt. That image would make a super painting.
Plants are gorgeous, one and all. I especially like the colour of R. Rosebud.

I love all your flowers Brian. I was told you must buy a Wisteria while it is in flower to be sure it does flower. My friend has been waiting for twelve years. I have the pink one and I love it.

Gorgeous, each and every one and that includes the little chappie with the soulful eyes.....

Not sure I can help much with the Wisterias they are notorious for taking there time to start flowering,my Pink one took five years before I saw a flower.
Stroller 2009 may be next year, one thing once they do start they never stop as far as I can see.
Linda if that were mine I think I would have gotten the saw out.
I have just planted a white one ,do I have another five years in me we shall see .lol
One thought it would be possible to prune next years buds off of them.

Very nice pictures! your Wisterias are doing very well. One of mine died this spring and the other had dozens of buds but they all dropped off! :@(

The buds all just dropped off mine too, Paul. What's going on there?

Great blog Bjs. I need to prune a large rhododendron. It has finished flowering can I just take off what i don't want as it is going to be too tall if I allow it to continue to grow where it is.
15 Jun, 2013
I think with mine, Tuesdaybear, it's the cold wind.It happens most years but not usually ALL the buds !!
16 Jun, 2013
Paul I know I am further South than Tuesdaybear but have never seen bud drop on Wisterias
