Cobea Scandens, the cup and saucer vine. Grown as an annual, and it needs warmth to get it going because it won't flower until about 6' tall. I've tried it twice and did manage to get a couple of flowers by about September!

It looks a wonderful place now. It's many years since I went there, and wasn't so well established in those days. I remember that thing with a thatched roof :o)

Yes its years since I had been too, and now it is all so mature. It was a shame the roses were over.

Ooh, do you have any pics from that time? ... Michael was disappointed to see part of the allotment area had tarmac paths ... never used to be like that! . . . . .

Oh my goodness Shirley, thats a long time ago now, but I will have a look for you. Its probably only photos of rose gardens though.
