Hartland Point, Devon.

Just a few photos of another little trip out last week while in Devon. Wouldnt like to be up here in the winter, very bleak, and probably blow you away.
Looking across the water you can see Lundy Island too. Thought I wouldn’t be able to climb up here, but someone dared me……

The photographs make it well worth the climb Cinders, I sometimes find getting back down is harder on ones legs....

Now you tell me Paul !!!!! I agree Lincs, but there was something to get hold of, which helped. Found it in my legs next day !!
Thank you Sheila, it was lovely that day, a fairly warm wind.

Blimey Cinders, you are doing a carbon copy of the visit we made back in the spring! Talk about deja vu!!
We went to Hartland Abbey too, but it hammered down with rain so we didnt get to see the gardens, I took almost identical pictures to you of the Point and we went to Rosemoor! Drove up the coast to Braunton, Ilfracombe and Lynmouth and stayed in Bideford Travelodge for a night.

Tet I knew someone on here had done it, but couldnt remember who it was. Its lovely there isnt it. We stayed in Bideford, but have done the other places several times, so except for Lynmouth which is lovely, we gave the others a miss this time.
Thanks TT.

I remember going there. It's very rugged and windswept isn't it, but beautiful aswell. Great to be able to see Lundy.

We thought it was a bit windy to go in a helicopter to Lundy, and it was a tad expensive too.
