Dont know if any of you remember me showing her to you a few years ago, she use to live next door to me but was badly treated, was never aloud indoors, she was fed outside nomatter what the weather was sometimes it was swimming other times it was all dry where the sun had dried it up, she had nowhere proper to sleep and keep warm, then they decided to leave and quess what they left her, she was approx 10yrs, one of my daughters took pity on her and landed up taking her to her house she is about 15yrs now, but just after xmas we noticed she was walking into things and would walk into the wall and instead on jumping down of things she just walked of them and fell, Jessica my daughter had her to the vets and all that horrible life she had before she is now completely blind, but she as a good home with my daughter, and as learned to adopt to how she is, everything as to be kept in the same place in the house, but she as learned to walk round the walls of the house to get herself about.

Poor thing. I'm glad she's got a new home now.
I firmly believe what goes round comes round .... I have seen it happen hundreds of times. Those nasty cruel people will learn their lesson before they die.

Dont know how people can be so cruel, i believe same as you that what goes round comes round, best bit is she is such a lovable cat, when i took this photo she didnot know i was at front of her.

This makes me so angry! How people can be such cruel b******s to animals!
I agree with you both.....karma.

You know although i say what goes round comes round but i also say things happen for a reason, with them taking off and leaving her was perhaps for the best, because if they still had her i bet they would not noticed she had gone blind.

poor wee thing..so glad she is well looked after now and has a lovely home with your daughter :) ((hugs))

some people are just wicked, what an awul way to treat an animal, poor little thing, so glad she is with your daughter Clarice and being well looked after, about 5 years ago my son kept getting a cat in his garden, whenever it could it would go into his house and sleep, my son tried to find the owner but could not, he took the cat to the vet and spent a fortune on treatment for it, after living with my son for a few weeks and looking a beautiful cat the neighbour knocked on the door and said you have my cat and now I want it back, my son refused, told the chap he should have taken care of it,the cat lived with my son until recently when he found the cat was so ill the vet suggested he had it put to sleep, my son was heartbroken but he gave it a good life whilst he had it,

It is a very sad story Carol but for Pepsi it has a happy ending, a place to call home and a new family to take care of her ;0)

I clicked "like" because she has a happy life now, Carol. I've had to take in cats which have been left after their owners just moved away...

Hopefully, she won't remember much now that her life is so much better...even without her sight...she looks really content... :)

You know the best part is when she first settled into my daughters and could go out, she just didnot wont to go out at all, even picking her up and walk towards the door, she she would struggle so we didnot put her out and when she did go out with in seconds she was back indoors. think she was worried that if she went outside she wouldnot get back in bless her.

...poor wee soul...thank goodness she's still got some life to live - in a good place! :)

even though she can't see she is a very happy pussy cat :))

Such a sad story, Carol ... but full marks to your daughter for caring for her ... :o)

So sad Clarice but she is so kindly cared for now by Jessica.

What a moving story. Poor little thing.

I don't understand how people can treat animals (or children) so cruelly. If you can't care for them don't have them in the first place. The sad thing is they are almost always so loving and will forgive just about anything. I'm so glad they left her behind and your daughter took her in, such a wonderful person to do so, you must be proud of her.

She looks so content in that photo, obviously happy now.

Brought tears to my eyes,, my daughter had a dog who lived with blindness for a good many years, somehow they just seem to adapt.
How wonderful that she now has a loving caring owner.
God bless.

What a courageous, beautiful cat, Pepsi is.

27 May, 2012

poor Pepsi, so sad that she had to go through all that before finding a good home. But at least she will be happy and well cared for for the rest of her life.

It's unbelievable the trust that animals continue to give humans, after being so horribly treated...

She is gorgeous Carol, and obviously contented with her life...

Lots of love Pepsi, you've stolen a little piece of my heart...xxx
