Hi everyone….I just wanted to say thankyou to everyone for the get well wishes….It’s taken a long time to get right, and I do still feel tired daily, but I’ve got a tonic, which is bitter, but I feel its doing some good…
I have received my order from David Austin Roses, of the Gertrude Jekyll Climbers, Pink…I believe I saw them in Cinderella’s Garden…Good strong healthy bare rooted roses, which are now planted in position…I haven’t been out into the Garden at all since falling ill, but Hubs came to the rescue, and is doing all the little jobs that need doing…
I will be back soon, just taking one day at a time…take care everyone…x x Keep well and wrap up warm…

So pleased to hear you are on the mend. I haven't got a Gertrude Jekyll rose Crissue, the pink one I have is Compassion, but I am sure yours will be lovely. Good wishes for a speedy return to good health.

Pleased you have a tonic to help with your recovery. No snow for us down on the South coast, so far so good!

Hello everyone, sad to see the weather around the UK is getting worse...we're minus 3° here in euroland, and its white with Frost...snowed all day Sunday, but didn't settle thank goodness....The Tonic is certainly helping, so will persevere with that....Elkie is beginning to look brighter, she's finished her antibiotics so its a week now for them to do their job.
Cinderella, my Hubby says he thinks I was having a senior moment or two, when I ordered the Roses, can I ask have you got yours at the side of your wall, and a seat that looks out onto the Garden?? if not I can't remember whose Rose it was....I may just have to order Compassion tooooo to make up for it, tho I am thrilled with my order...take care one and all. x x

Crissue, I have just been through all my photos and blogs, and cant find a picture like you mention. But I do have to say that there is another pink rose called Paul McCartney on there, which is a very pretty pink, a more girly pink than Compassion, (which is my Avatar), and it has a lovely scent. All roses are lovely aren't they, so I'm sure you won't be disappointed.
