Hi everyone, here's hoping you all had as nice a day where you are, as we have had here...not overly Hot, but good enough to get on with outstanding jobs...

Thanks for your comments, glad you like the progress...
We did get a head start last Autumn by planting all the new Perennials in the left hand border...and just adding a few bits...but the rain brought it all on a treat...

Thanks grandmage, OH idea to plant the Acer there, gives colour and height to that side of the pond....

Hi San, you can always move a few pebbles and make planting holes for your grasses etc, then pop your pebbles back round...

Time for a well earned cuppa...;o))))

You need some aerating Pond Weed in there. Might also get some Water Boatmen, Red Spider Mites and others to take an interest in. I once had a large Dragonfly come and fly around above my pond, looking down at the water.

Morning all,
The forecast here today is supposed to be very Hot...but they're predicting a storm front for the weekend...Our local Farmers though disagree and say it will pass us by...Think I'll go with the farmers lol...

Love the idea of the Dragonfly, we used to have them on our big pond years ago, and a wonder to watch....

DD hope you had you Hat on lol, keep the head cool...

Just need to add the Water Lily, we're buying it today, our local GC has moved their Aquatic section to outside, and though they normally have great Plant stock for ponds, they felt it wasn't warm enough to stock...So we're going to one under cover, I would love a Reed too,
We have Equiseteum {like mares tail} and Barbara's recommended Mint...and we are aerated....may also look at the waterfalls too..we'll see...:o))))
