A few photos taken on a walk around the garden this afternoon. The leaves are certainly starting to fall now.

Hi Linda, we rake them off the lawns and compost as many as we can before we lose the will to live but yes we leave them in the woodland, when the trees we had winding grass paths through the trees but as the trees have grown and formed a canopy, the grass on the paths doesnt grow now so we just leave the leaves.

Just love pics of your "stately home" gardens Dawn. Thank goodness you don't have to gather up the woodland leaves!

Beautiful photos, I can just imagine the pleasure of walking through those lovely crunchy leaves. I found myself kicking up the leaves when walking Millie a few days back - just hope no one was looking.

I don't think I could take a quick walk round your garden it would be a day out with a picnic sitting on Johns bench Lol ... it looks lovely Dawn :o) , Gill I was doing the same I love kicking and crunching the leaves ,be very careful when they get wet as you can easily skid over on them ....

Lovely to be able to stroll under the trees, like being in another world, because it is always quiet in woodlands, especially your own???

Thanks Stera.
Simbad, I'm trying to avoid a bonfire as like you, I get all the work. We have lots of burnings too.
Hi Gee, thank you, hope you've managed to do some more leaf kicking with millie.
Amy - you are too kind :-)
DD, yes its is nice to walk Bonnie without have to go out. It is quiet, no one can see me really, good job as I'm using in wellies and dressing gown and fleece first thing in the morning. The cows in the field behind are mooing alot just lately, lol, I must have a word.
