Looks beautiful, Dawn. I wish the pond in Sweden looked as good as yours. Maybe next year......I still have your list. :0)

Thanks Linda, I hope you're well. Your pond will get there, once you clear some trees and get it in full sun I'm sure it will be fine.

Your garden is looking stunning, lawns so green and colourful borders.

Thanks Siris, the constant rain helps.
Hi Seaburn, that's what worries me, being available for family to give me more jobs.
Sandra, you're always dashing around with all your work at the nursery, I grew 6 grafted tomato plants this year, I must tell you how they've faired compared to my own grown from seed x

Thanks Amy, yes, your baby miscanthus is a big boy now, your plants and ones grown from your seed adorne my garden and I treasure them all ?

Good to see you Dawn, with amazing lovely photos no matter which way round! Your Lythrum having its feet wet is obviously ideal for it . . . I gave one to my neighbour who's put it beside his pond, and his is twice the size of mine now :)

Hi Dawn! Your gardens are gorgeous. we've had decent amounts of rain here too and things are growing huge and bountiful! What var. of ligularia is in your last pic, please? love those blossoms!
7 Aug, 2017
Thanks Sheila, I hope you're well. I have Loosestrife in my beds as my clay keeps them moist.
Hi Lori, how's life in your beautiful part of the world? I think it's L dentata ?
7 Aug, 2017
Lovely photo's of what is a well loved garden....
8 Aug, 2017
Loved it is, thanks Lin x

We've had strange weather, Dawnsaunt. Lots of moisture though, which makes things lush.
I have L. dentata Othello... :-)) mine's not blooming yet, somehow it looks more interesting than mine!

Your garden has that wonderfully mature look that makes you want to wander & lose yourself in.
I wish my ligularia would grow like yours.
9 Aug, 2017
Lori, it's been wet here for a week or so but without the rain the garden would look tired at this time of year here.
Hi Green :-) thank you. I moved 2 of my ligularia to the pond edge a few weeks ago as they were drooping in the beds yet this one, on the opposite bed is well happy, slugs, snails are a problem of course but they certainly don't like being in dry soil
