I had a wander around the garden today and there are quite a few flowers giving colour and odd ones are flowering for a second time this year.
Persicaria wallichii
Hesperantha (thank you Siris)
Malus Evereste
Astrantia major
Fuchsia magellanica
Cortaderia
Miscanthus sinensis

Can't beat a garden in autumn, springtime is exciting but the changing colours as plants, shrubs and trees have their last fling can be very striking, its as though they have spent all summer getting dressed up for the last dance of the year, lol........

You must have lots to do in your lovely large garden. This time of the year is really lovely, unless too windy. It is really making the trees sing today with the tail end of Brian. Dries the washing nicely too. Not too many leaves willing to let go yet, apart from next doors Magnolia. Leaf blower/shredder for my birthday, so ready for action this year.

Yes Dorjac, too much to do although this time of year isn't too bad. Yes, windy here too but like you, lots of green foliage left on most trees. Enjoy your leaf blower.
