It's beautiful Dawn :) I love to see the leaves all on the ground and the ones still on the trees are so colourful …

If I lived there, I would never leave home...literally...except to do shopping.

I think I agree with you Karen! And I'd avoid shopping too unless it became necessary...
Dawn do you manage all this on your own?

9 Nov, 2018

Stera...we could just get deliveries! :)

I love trees and they are really at their best, I think, in Autumn. Yours prove that!!

(For. moment I thought you had a wild boar in the woods)

Really love to see your garden anytime but autumn is a special season.

Thats not a garden, its an estate Dawn, absolutely lovely as always.....

Yes you can just get deliveries - but I found ordering on line took as long as going round the shop. Probably just not got the hang of it. But you can stay at home which is worth a lot...

I agree with Karen I would never ever leave, would build a tree house or a little hut in the woods...one can but dream!

Thanks everyone.
It's taken about 16 years to get this carpet of leaves, I remember when we planted the tiny trees the grass was as high as them.
Amy, Bonnie is 14 now and just as greedy, she's always looking for something to snuffle. The hot summer brought the snakes out, in a sunny spot by the pond one day I nearly trod on a cluster, I saw at least 4 heads, all entwined, yuk.
Stera, yes I do it on my own, OH mows the lawns and heavy jobs.
I would love a tree house!
I have Morrisons deliver every week, I love it, no more spending half a day a week in the supermarket, you soon get used to shopping online, if you go to your Favourites everything is there that you've had before so you just select what you need, I have a delivery pass which gives me free delivery on any Tuesday, Wed, or Thursday for about £30 a year, well worth it I think. I've had Tesco and Sainsbury's but Morrisons the best and freshest. No I don't go far, work twice a week and visit to my mums.

Oh Dawn that gives me shivers ,I hope you wear nice thick boots preferably with steel toe caps Lol .. my toes curled up at the thought of it ....

I am ok with snakes....its spiders lol
We shop at Morrisons, I like online shopping so much cheaper (I am not tempted lol) no shelf staring, as my OH calls it!!.... just waiting for them to set it up here...used Sainsburys, Ocado, Tesco Asda Aldi and Lidl, but Morries fish counter is the best!..the deliverery pass sounds ideal, would suit us well!

I don't mind spiders, it's the snakes that make me shudder.
Online grocery shopping has changed my life, seriously.
Tesco and Sainsbury's and Tesco get the goods off their shelves but Morrisons comes out of a warehouse so much fresher :-)
