It’s that time again :) Tawny Owletts

wooh hoo that is wonderful news. We have tawny's that rest in the beech tree but they don't nest with us sadly.
they look such a fright don't they.

Oh Dawn I'm so pleased for you ,I remember John making the owl box and the excitement when the first eggs hatched they will always come back to you,It's their home :o) x

I always laugh when I see them Dawn..they look so comically grumpy don't they? Love them.....you are so lucky to have them..but you know that. :)

Thanks everyone. They do look grumpy lol, spotted the Mum nearby in a pine tree on guard. Amy it's about 11 years since John built the box! I was so shocked today to see them as it's usually the end of May.

They are cute, grumpy looking & potentially vicious but that's a cracking job helping out wildlife?!

A wonderful sight,Dawn,I adore owls,and this one is so cute..How lucky to have these in your garden..they must certainly feel safe living there...
