Raining this morning so went off to the garden centre for some bulbs.Crocus, tulips, allium. mascari, St Brigid anemones etc and my favorite King Alfred daffs and then I bought Dr DG Hessayon ‘The Flower Expert’ I love this series of books. I use to buy gardening books but found after a while they were out of date as fashions change and new plants are not in them. I now have 4 in the series they are 17 in all.
I do not usually buy magazines but I have enjoyed gardeners world magazine this summer full of interesting bits.
This afternoon I made one of the flower borders in the back garden wider as the shrubs are getting much bigger.
Then the TV man came with a new portable for the dinning room It was a good job I was his last call as he has a new garden and has dug a pond first so he walked all round mine and took loads of photos on his phone. If I had had a body hidden in the garden I swear he would have found it!

If you get neutralising bulbs you dont have to dig them up each year.

Sounds Good, Drc!
I KNOW I want black tulips as well, & I'll need to look & see what the little white double narcissi are called! DONT want big yellow ones, I dont really like them except in great big swathes, & not enough room for that!
