That time of year dont panic!

Do other GOY’s ‘panic’ before the spring, that everything they did in the garden last year will be a disaster this? that nothing will look good and its going to be awful. I do this every year because I have forgotten how lovely a British spring etc can be. So hurry on spring and show me your true colours.

I always 'panic' because all the leaves have not been raked up, the mulch hasn't all been spread, the seeds haven't all been started as early as they should have been - the list goes on! lol. This year has been worse than usual with all the snow and cold, I haven't even finished pruning the climbing roses - HELP!!!

Even if you're only able to do the odd 10 minutes, it will all add up and it WILL all get done!

I have the view that if i walk passed one on the way in/out and pull just one or two then the job gets done quicker. tempting all the time but have to think about the state of my nails if going to work!

Normally I do do the odd bit but its so wet here just sinking so am staying off the garden till its a bit firmer. We had a lot of rain after a lot of snow.

Yes, in a way, Denise. I keep looking for the new growth at the base of the plants, and new shoots appearing! Seeing those first snowdrops was wonderful this week. :-))
