That's so pretty, I need to buy one!

I thought I had pruned off all JRs tassels but I noticed he has some high up ones but still on the small side like the ones in your higher branches. It is a plant to drool over.

Terratoonie:
Wow! That's incredible! Does the cold affect the flowers?
It's looks extremely cold there. We just experienced some of the coldest weather in years here in San Diego. Even though I don't get frost or freezing temps (at my location), my tallest sausage tree experienced cold damage on all the leaves. I had to cut all the leaves off. The smaller trees amazingly enough didn't have any problems. I had three morning lows (in a row) of 38ºF (3.3ºC) and the fourth morning low of 36ºF (2.2ºC)! Daytime temps were only around 59ºF (15ºC).
The last four days have been around 80ºF (27ºC) and the nights have been very mild. A huge change from last week's rare cold weather.

Thanks everyone for your lovely comments.
JR's tassels do look like Christmas decorations ..
... very pretty ..
.. and, yes, JR did benefit from the wet summer. His tassels don't seem to get damaged by the frost or snow ... but sometimes the sparrows nibble at them !
Delonix .. I must check up on your photos for GoYpedia Sausage Trees.... they will be glad that your weather has warmed up !

Still lots of snow here. I've been clearing paths all morning. Three hours of shovelling and sweeping!
.. and my beloved JR is still weighed down with snow...
