I’m so sorry not to have visited GOY more this past year – it has been a bit of a difficult one in a few ways. I have really missed you all, and I hope you’ll forgive me and welcome me back in 2015 (Those of you who remember who I am!).
I would post a Christmassy picture of the countryside round here, or of the garden, but it’s all unseasonably green and sunny out there (we cut the lawn three weeks ago), so I hope you won’t mind too much if I post one from 2 years ago. There is snow forecast for Boxing Day, but that’ll be too late, I’m afraid.
I do hope each and every one of you has a splendid Christmas, that Santa brings you all your hearts’ desires, and that 2015 brings all the things it should, in your homes, your hearts and your gardens.

Hoping you'll be able to visit GoY more next year, and that 2015 will be kind to you.
On some of my blogs, I still give details of TV Garden theme times and dates ... I know you like to make a note of those for viewing. There are two shows about royal gardens coming up very soon.

Its been a funny ole year weatherwise here as well but we did get a good summer and same as last year autumn went on for a long time and we still have flowers even now..

How lovely to get such a warm and kind response from so many people: thank you. Our snow has arrived and is making the hills look very beautiful just two days too late! Stay warm and safe, everyone, and snuggle up to the fire with a nice warm cat and all those 2015 seed catalogues.
