Wonderful Weather......

i sometimes wonder why i live near the sea, when the winds can be so strong and ruin your plants and trees… earlier in the year it knocked of buds on my plants…..but all is forgiven on a day like today……when the garden is looking lovely and springing back to like…….all is well with the world….
i can smell the sea from my living room and today it smells delicous……
went for a walk on the beach yesterday.. and had a nose round the rock pools here are some of the pics i took on a lovely day…..
hope you enjoy them

I live a mile from the sea (as the crow flies!!) and yes I can smell the sea too but its full of shingle and not as pretty as yours! It is daft I rarely go to the beach apart from during the winter when its empty!! If we go for a walk we tend to go more to the forest - just shows you dont appreciate whats on your doorstep!!

So that's what the seaside looks like?! I'm a landlubber myself! ;-) I've very rarely been to the seaside & when I did I never saw anything like in your photos!

Three consecutive years at the beginning of the 60s I went to a boys' camp near Hastings for two weeks each year.

Ten years after I also went to Skegness, 3 years in a row, again for two week periods.I also spent two weeks at Whitby, I even got as far north as Robin Hood Bay, the furthest north I've ever been in the UK!

All the years I lived in Spain I never once visited the seaside resort towns during the summer! I did visit Valencia a couple of times, back in 1973, but I didn't like the hard packed sand on the beach there, anyway it was in January, the 1st time & in April the 2nd time. Then I didn't get to see the beach. The last time I went wasn't to Valencia itself but to a little village on the outskirts where a cousin of my wife's got married. We were only there for the day.
