aww he is lovely

My dad used to have dozens of budgies! He often let them all out of their big cage & let them fly around the living room for an hour or two! Then we all got rolled in to catch them & get them back into the cage again! What a time we used to have!!!

My wife & I had three in Spain & we let them out of their cages for very long periods. My wife liked the way they would climb all over the table with her study books & demand attention! One especially, a blue male, called (no surprises for guessing!) Bluey, would nibble her pens while she was trying to write notes!

I had a budgie as a child, and have always owned a budgie since that time.
Lots of lovely memories of my various budgies.
They are wonderful little characters... :o)

He's a cutie sky is a lovely name our foot ball team here where I live might want him lol sky blues hehe.

Many years ago I used to have 2, called Bubble & Squeak!!

He his lovely, my sister has a male budgie and he talks your head off, he also plays with the grandchildren with a budgie ball on the floor, the kids will roll the balls on the floor and Sam the budgie goes get it and bring it back for them to roll again for him.

He's gorgeous Holly. The boys are the good talkers I believe. How exciting. My Auntie always had blue, boy budgies (each named Bluey) and they always talked, fascinating.

Thanks from me and Sky for all your lovely comments.... i have spent today doing the garden and putting together a new cage for sky which i bought on ebay its great and has lots of room for him to move about in......
years ago i had a yellow/green budgie called beauty..... he lived till 8 or 9..and talked a lot..... i keep calling sky beauty... even though its been 10 years since i had him....
the cage came flat packed.... say no more but my son and i got it all together and put sky in it.....he had been in a much smaller cage...
in a week or so i shall let him out to fly round....great fun...i shall have to make sure he doesnt land on Ella... or she may bite him....
im looking forward to hearing his first words....... let you lnow when it happens... : O )))

Did he come from a local breeder ?

My friend had a budgie...called Spud..and he was a good talker.She used to leave the radio on for him,when she went to work,for a bit of company.Lol..

Yes, when I'm gardening, Crocus my budgie likes to watch tennis or snooker on TV.... and if I go out I put the radio on for him... He likes Radio 2 best of all. ;o)

lol..TT.... the things we do for our pets..... sky hasnt seen the tv yet... his cage is the other end of the room.... will put a pic on tomorrow of his new cage.... i call it the penthouse.....: O ))
