FUCHSIAS

My new Fuchsias have arrived, and are now potted up :-
They are beautiful plants and I am looking forward to seeing them flowering.
I got them from Other Fellow Fuchsia Nursery.
I’ve sent for some from there in the past also, and have been very pleased with them.
They have a large selection, and several rather unusual varieties too.
So if anyone is looking for some nice Fuchsias, maybe this is one place you could try :o)
Here’s a link you can copy and paste :-

I just thought I’d mention it … lol

Just had a look at your suggested link Hywel. I'm drooling. So many beautiful plants. I do not need any more plants but there are so many to choose from. Your new acquisitions are promising to perform well for you.

Oh Hywel what are you like? You will have to enlarge your fuchsia house before long...
I tried searching for hardy ones but couldn't find how to do it - the only result said that nothing matched the search criteria which is hard to believe.

Thank you all :)
Steragram if you go to their home page, you'll see under the search box, a green line, and under that some words in purple.
One of those sais 'Fuchsias'
If you hover that little arrow (name not known to me) over that word, you'll see a drop down menu, which will enable you to go to certain categories - including the hardy varieties.
Yes it is very cold Diane. There s a cold wind blowing here today.

How lovely! My overwintered ones are just beginning to put on new growth. So exciting!

Mine too :) I put them out in the rain to be watered recently. They had become so dry that the compost wouldn't soak it up when I watered them myself.

A couple of mine have been outside all winter, though really only because I'd forgotten to bring the containers inside. I am lucky they survived, but we did have a mild winter here this year. The ones that have been under cover are always quite difficult to water at first. Rain is definitely best!

Ah, Hywel, you have really started something. I went to look at the website and fell in love. Now I'm looking round the garden to see where I can put a few of those gorgeous hardy fuchsias.
At the moment I'm resisting but.......

Sorry Hywel, I did reply but must have forgotten to press Send... No I shall restrain myself this time, but made a note of the web address for next year...I've got 17 already (that's nothing compared with you but I've only got homes for hardy ones as you know.

Thank you Hywel. Nice bushy plants. This freezing cold westerly wind makes me think I am in an Igloo in the Antarctic.
