People passing by often remark on how pretty the garden is Meadowland.

The rose is not scented Seaburngirl but it has many flowers.

I am careful going under it Sheilabub because it is low.

It is low Feverfew, I am 5 ft 6 inches and I have to bend to go under it.

It is not there any more, I had to take it down to put an old fridge/freezer there so that the council could collect it.
I didn't cut the rose so I may put it back, but the thorns were a nuisance. The flowers are finishing now anyway.

Hywel it looked so pretty, was a lovely combination with the fuschia, shame it had to go but sometimes we have to do these things, if you decide to grow it back you can now train the arch to start the curve a bit higher up, I know from vast experience how roses like to grab us..

Thanks Sue, I am going to revamp this bit of the garden so I'm not sure what I'll do with it yet. I may just put it back though because I'll miss it :)

Sorry,Hywel,I seem to have added a like,but forgot to comment ! We had a few days away around that time..What a wonderful combination of both the Rose and Fuchsia,on a lovely walkway. It really is eyecatching .:o)

The Penstemons you kindly sent me ,have now got established in my pots,and so I'm expecting an explosion of colour soon :o) The White one,looks as though it will be the first I will post a photo when they are in flower :o) x
