By the way... what are bangers ?

8 Apr, 2008

British sausages Mike. They are finger shaped and called bangers because of the noise the skin makes when it splits. Delicious

We are all as bad as each other - I sneak in to the PC in the morning on the pretext of 'checking my e-mails' and have to be almost forcibly removed much, much later... lol Then in the evening, it's on with the laptop to see what everyone's been up to that day. And possibly add some good pics of new flowers out, of course!

You can't beat quick'n'easy comfort food, can you? Especially when you use up your time on GOY instead of cooking elaborate meals... lol.

GoY is addictive! The site is useful & user friendly, info is first rate, the photos lovely to browse, but I have to say that the GoY community is the best out there and that is what keeps me coming back. Thanks everyone!
On that note, I have to mention that I absolutely have to forbid myself to go anywhere near the computer until morning chores are done, or my pets would starve and there would be no household left. Lol!

Lovely tale Irish reminds me of mum from Co.Sligo now you know where I get it from but keep to youself please. She forgot things and remember the time she made a macaroni cheese but forgot the tomato to dress it with rushed out of kitchen and placed on the table apologizing.
Thing was we were half way through our desserts at the time.Bless her.

I have to admit to needing a daily "fix", or as many as I can get, at work. But there is only 1 of 7 terminals which allow me to post things ( usually the busiest). But it helps get me through my 13-hour shifts. lol! At least, doing these hours, I work only a 3-day week, which leaves me more time for gardening, cooking, the children, etc., which is fab!
But, with the 2008 gardening season now well underway, will explain why I seldom sit down and enjoy GOY much b4 midnight, It is a brill unwind period 4me!
