went up to the allotment yesterday,do you fancy a walk round? bit windy and cold but first chance we,ve had to get up here since before hols and bad weather.
hmm needs a bit of TLC i think.
red & white onions coming on now.
garliic doing ok
our xmas dinner veg,cabbage& swede.
broccoli and all year lettuce ,hmm should i take some lettuce home today?
ill sort this out later.
after ive done this lot,
i will take a little lettuce,and a few cuttings from tomato plant,
thats that done and hoe,d
looks a bit better now.even the bench got a scrub.
ben was busy putting up new shelf in greenhouse need a few more ready for next year.awaiting yet more wood and another ton of top soil for 2 of the beds.
the beekeepers plot around corner from ours he is going to put another 2 hives on plot on 2 bare paving slabs in pic.
mikes plot , next to beekeeper ,he has been busy trying to clear up but works long hours.
steve & helens,bags of manure ready to go on theirs,they do love their plot.and get a lot of enjoyment out of it as do i with ours.
next to us,hmm what you up to with the wood frank ?
a quick look over to peters in corner he will be planning his planting callender with great care.
new young couple katarina & hubby,not had plot long but had quite a bit of produce already.
ah well back to work,

I was worried my camera batteries would get too low when I was photographing Conker for his blog this week.... I took so many pics around the garden centre.....the batteries just lasted long enough !

i know mine dont last long i believe you can get certain ones for cameras that last for thousands of pic bit expensive about £15 but i dont know what theyre called,have to find out,just gonna look at conkers blog not had mutch time this week

What a great allotment, and you're so organised. I do admire you going out in all weathers to tend it, and what a lovely bonus those fresh lettuce leaves are.

aw thank you too mad,i have to be a bit organised or it would get too much im just glad we do it together,although him indoors doesnt do the planting he does help a lot and if you enjoy it ,it helps plus you get to meet nice people who give you some of their wares (if your lucky) lol

its not too bad where it is drc but quite buit up around it.
we got it in feb this year amble hard work but worth it shouldnt be too long for yours eh look forward to seing it when you do,~not with jammy dodgers :o)

it is hywel i go sometimes just for peace & quiet ,turn mobile off put kettle on --bliss .yes we did work hard at first but luckily we had some spare time when we got it
