On my way home this afternoon, I took a few pics of my friends front ‘ garden’.
Why I didn’t take some pics of the back garden while we were sat enjoying our lunch in the sunshine, I don’t know!

I love the lupins Kate! All of mine have been brilliant this year!
You will have to take photos of the back garden Kate, when you go again!

Very pretty plants. I hopeyou enjoyed your lunch. It's almost too hot to sit outside at the moment here.

Lovely Lupins, they don’t like my sandy soil, so none in my garden. I love the orange Rose in the pic above, tho’ all of them are nice. A good year for Roses it seems.

Thanks Julia, yes, she has a few in the back garden too - lucky her! They do look quite pretty and healthy.

Thanks Eileen, yes, we had a spot of lunch as I’d taken her a folder with her ‘family tree’ inside. My mum had completed it for her when I’d been visiting last week.

Thanks Rose - I’d like to have some room for one or 2 myself…you never know! I shall definitely take pics of her back green next time. She’s waiting on a new greenhouse being delivered and I’m in awe of her husband’s veg garden!

Thanks kindly, Ange. Yes, it was a it cooler at the coast yesterday. She’s at Hornsea. Yes it pretty hot here today. I’ve had today off as well as tomorrow. Very hot tomorrow! I’m working Saturday then off Sunday. Don’t mind as it’s meant to be cooler and probably raining.

I only get to see lupins on Goy as OK really doesn't like them - bad childhood memories he says! Yours are grand. If your friend's back garden is a good as the front it would be well worth seeing too! You can almost smell those fabulous roses!

Thanks Sue! I relayed everyone’s lovely feedback last night when we met up for supper and drinks at friends. She was so delighted that everyone had been to kind!
My Mum has the same feeling about geraniums as your OH has with lupins.
