Out and about in October.

Just a few things that caught my eye, the white dahlia, the hebe and the hydrangea were taken in a patient’s garden.
The other pics were from this morning, as I walked back home from dropping my car off at the garage…Little job being done on an alloy.
If I’d had more time, I’d have walked up behind the bund hill and captured some more things growing wild. However, I had a job to do at home..paint the downstairs wc. OH had installed a new extractor and a new toilet. Luckily, the sink and cabinet is fairly new.
Quick job and then mowed the lawn and then went out front to tidy out there afterwards.
Lovely blue skies and sunny too, cold in the shade though.

Autumn I love being in the garden Kate - obviously if dry and fairly warm. Lovely photos . You have a talented Hubby Kate. I do like the pine as you'd imagine :D

Good of you to share your lovely photos on a busy day, Kate, and good to have such a practical OH too.
Like your weather, ours was lovely in the sunshine but very cold in the shade earlier. This evening we have lashing rain and hurricane-style winds!

Thanks Jane, I'll pass on your like to my patient next time.
The pine tree is one of many at the lower end of the bund hill, which is a little way away from my end of the bund. I do like your pine, thankfully it's snug indoors now.

Thanks Julia, I'm fortunate OH has many skills! I try not to take him for granted 😊
The first 3 pics are plants in a garden belonging to a patient. I wish it was my hebe! I've always struggled with them.

Thank you, Paul, that's kind of you ill pass your thoughtful message on to him. 😊
I do love the colour of autumn, the crisp air and the blue skies. I'm waiting to see some more changing leaf colour, those rich hues. I look forward to Halloween and Guy Fawkes. My sister was born on Halloween.

Thank you, Sheila. I thought I'd post quickly as I had a quick lunch.
I'm very lucky to have OH, he's a gem. Sometimes I have to get him to just sit down and have a rest...always wants to be doing something, starting a new project..
We've not had the rain yet. It's calm outside this evening, but, I guess storm Babet is close by..

Rather you than me, painting your wc, they are such a fiddly area to deal with! A good array of colourful plants there.
