All about self seeding primulas

Today was the nicest day since last fall and we even had a cup of coffee sitting outside.
Lots of primulas self seed everywhere. This is not in immediate vicinity of the house. It is in the area I call Sun Valley because it is sunniest part of the property. Down the hill from the house. Nothing formal in there.
There is a little orchard down there and next month all the trees will be blooming. It will be a pleasant place to sit. There are also few rhododendrons and few specimen trees.

The plant in the middle is a rhubarb. I did not plant any of this. There are lots of forget-me-nots there as well. Also self seed.

There's nothing to beat self-seeded primroses. I think the contrast of tones is what makes an attractive Spring picture.

Lovely to see the way the primroses have spread around...great pics. 😊

That's interesting. Most of the primulas are darkish but you have some wild pale yellows too. Here the wild ones interbreed very enthusiastically with the darker ones and we get a lot of pale pink self set sown ones
Your garden is so beautiful - looking forward to pics of the blossom when it comes out!

Now I'm feeling envious, what a lovely spot to relax in, the colours of all your primulas is gorgeous and a grand view to go with it...

Wow, some of those Primula clumps are humongous. What a view you have looking towards the lake. I'd hide the wheelie bin though, it spoils your outlook.

It's nice to have primroses spread through the garden, they tell us that spring has finally arrived :)
You've got a lovely view ...

Julia is right, a lovely naturalisation, Klahanie. Flashes of colour dotted all over, very cheering indeed! I’m pleased you enjoyed relaxing with a coffee outside too. I’ll bet the orchard looks very pretty when the trees start to ? Bloom and leaf.
The last pic of some spring flowers is gorgeous!
