the rewards of a gardener

That is lovely kmccue07, I have a clematis called firecracker, I've had it 3 years, the first didn't flower, last year we had 2, and this year there must be a dozen buds, I'm looking forward to it flowering.

wow that is amazing - I am still waiting for first signs of a bud from my 3 babies - I was in the botanical gardens in Dublin at the weekend and they had clematis with "trunks" don't you just love them !

This is a lovely variety Kmc what a difference a week makes .. no wonder your so pleased with it .

SK... unfortunately I do not remember the name...it is 5 years old and it was purchased at Lowes (a local home improvement/do it yourself)

Mageth...it receives full sun and that is it other than watering when nature doesn't send enough rain.

to the right of this plant is a double bloom clamatis (pretty much the same color) that I have had for 7 years...blooms have not yet opened on it yet but it has a good number of buds as well.
