Mega delight, woke up to Rain....

Yippee I awoke this morning to wet sparkly leaves and refreshed plants, lasted about 6hrs and hasn`t come back yet though its looking promising.
Busy time, the spring bulbs have gone over so I`ve been working my way around tidying and making room for the summer bedding, also planting up baskets and pots…
Still lots of bedding plants growing on…
Tomatoes all planted in their rings and doing well. Alicante, Gardeners Delight and Roma Plum..
Sweetpeas planted out…
Runnerbeans tucked away, they were left overs donated by my daughter, hadn`t really got any space but seemed a shame to refuse so popped them in here…
Strawberries doing quite well which is a surprise as only been in 4wks….
Hosta`s and Lilies doing well, pleased to say no signs of nasty beetles yet…
Pleased to say two hedges trimmed as well, cannot do the front as garden waste bin is full, thats a relief as I dislike that job and have an excuse to leave that for another week.
All this going on and look what my helpers are doing…
All in all not a bad days work and now I`m cream-crackered and very dirty, lol…
Enjoy your gardening…….

Thanks Paul, I had to cut half of that juniper away last year as it was dying, it was a case of what the heck, so I gave it a go and am delighted to say that new growth is appearing, fingersxx it continues to thrive...

Hello Lincslass! I must say, it's well you're so good in the the garden, because your (very cute!) helpers look like they're on strike! All the plants look like they're thriving, and the inside of your greenhouse looks a lot like mine...not a square inch of bench to put one more thing down on! Isn't it great!! I just LOVE sowing seeds or taking cuttings, just to see if they'll grow for me, best fun...hubby thinks it's 'sweet' I think he really means 'crackers'! Lol! ;0) Well done on all that hard work...go and put your feet up and cuddle your helpers!

Well done Lincslass, you have certainly been busy planting up all of your baskets and containers. Where are you going to put the rest of the bedding plants you have grown ?

Love your lazy helpers Lincslass, they are beautiful. Love your garden also, it is looking so good. I am impressed with the baskets and especially the large cage style hangers. Pleased you had rain at last, we had some overnight, it is so so much fresher out there this morning. Hope we get a little more today. We did get a shower before we went off to our cricket match yesterday morning and the smell was absolutely amazing in the garden. I had forgotten what it was like after rain. Happy Gardening

Wow Lincs, how busy you've been. You're far more organised than me but I'm starting to catch up now. Your helpers are doing what they do best.......each to his own! I'm glad you got your rain at last, our gardens will take off now I hope :o)

Thanks all, must admit lots of dust laying about indoors but can do that job in the dark, lol
Mariek I never have a problem with too many plants, they`ll end up in daughter, sister, son and my Dads gardens
Personal choice as regards my baskets Mrrottie, I like to see them full, been doing them that way for years and they seem to thrive, however if I had fuschia`s in them then I would leave more growing space, this year I`ve put my fuschia`s in pots, expecting dry conditions and can move pots into shade easier, hows that for forward planning,lol.....

Hi Lincs. A busy but productive day by the looks! Always a joy to see the end results isn't it and the satisfaction of seeing a job or jobs, well done.
Loads going on in your greenhouse with veg, seedlings and hanging baskets and a credit to you that you got so much done. Bring on the summer I say.....with a splattering of rain, I say:0))
