Blue Skies and warmth....

Its been a beautiful day, clear blue sky and really warm so naturally one has to be outside, after a quick tidy up and sorting out the grandchildren it was down the garden for me. Out came the mower and strimmer, its a good job I like cutting my lawns because they had really shot up and its only been a week… Time for a coffee and playtime with Brynner then into the greenhouse for pricking out some more seedlings,I went to a local nursery with my daughter last Weds and bought a pot of Busy Lizzies and a tray of Petunias and they all needed potting on as well, its rapidly filling up in there so I`ll be moving some of the stronger ones down to the other house tomorrow.. Still too nice to go indoors so I planted out more Sweetpeas and had another general tidy around the borders and in the dogs play area before I tackled the compost bins, 2hrs later I now have lots of the good stuff ready to dig into the ground, one half bin nicely turned and another completely empty awaiting bin number three`s turn, thats a job for another day because by this time I`m rather dirty and a wee bit hungry, plus daughter is cooking my evening meal.(bliss).lol……. Just time for a last look around…… Somebody else taking advantage of a good day..I`d love a go in one of them..

Blue's my favourite colour especially in the sky, no vapour trails too :-) doesn't it give you a 'boost' when the garden suddenly colours up. Your Wallflowers are nice, early too.

Lovely photos Ll :-)
Is that a Phlox in the 4th picture, it's pretty ..... mine haven't a hint of a flower yet :-((
I love that type but they don't stand up well to having the cats trample them and they break up a lot :-((((((
