I am sitting here looking out at the rain wishing I was pottering about in the garden. Here are a few photos I took yesterday when the weather was at least dry. This is called the Scottish summer!!!!

Lovely photo's Linda, your garden is really colourful and everything looking so healthy, we've not had much rain here so things are struggling a bit, not filling out as well as they should...

We had some really heavy rain here this morning for around 30 mins! It rarely rains as hard as it did today unless there is a thunderstorm, which there wasn't. A few nights ago we did have a thunderstorm lasting 30 mins & a fair bit of rain as well.
We live in what is probably the driest corner of the UK, in East Anglia, so when the forecasters talk of "a month's worth of rain in one day" it makes me laugh - here that would be barely enough to wet the ground in much of the country! :-D)

Can`t think of a nicer place to look out on, even in the rain, you have some beautiful flowers and the hosta and fern bed looks a delight.

Well, I managed to cut the front lawn before the rain started but I had to run back and forward. It was 20 degrees yesterday but it didn't feel like it. We are looking forward to better weather next week but I have just a few small outdoor painting jobs. Never done, Balcony.
The bit with the Hostas and Ferns is a great favourite of mine Stroller. :o)
