We woke up this morning to snow all around us. It has been very cold here today so it hasn’t melted.
Although I was tidying the garden last week, I delayed removing all covering for the numerous plant that have sent up early shoots. I am glad my hunch of snow coming stopped any rash moves.

It is really cold today and very slippy underfoot.
Barbara and I went through our veg seeds this morning and planned our summer veg. Something to look forward to.

I can't give your blog a like, Linda, for the snow! Like Hywel I don't like it at all! It's nice to look at & fun (for a few minutes) to walk in (when its the powder stuff at least) but the snow that fell here on Tuesday evening was more like sleet than snow even though for a little while it was proper snow.
Fortunately tomorrow it is forecast to warm up a bit & we are told we may reach 10C max! Though it will be a "one day wonder" as during the weekend temps are forecast to fall again. 😖

It was lovely here on Friday & I had to take off my thermals!!! 😀😀😀 We did better than originally forecast, too, ending up with 12C!
Unfortunately the cloud & a cold wind have spoiled what would otherwise have been a reasonable day for January! 😞
Tomorrow we are expecting a very cold day & very strong, cold winds from the North! 😞 A max of 4 or 5 C are forecast.😞

Well, today is Sunday and I was gardening until three when it became too cold. Glorious blue skies and no snow, Balcony.

the forecasters seem to have got it right this time. Snowing here for us too.
Sensible not to uncover any plants really at this time of year.
