Spring at last.

As the days get longer and a bit warmer here in Scotland the flowers are beginning to appear. Great! Barbara and I have been digging at our veg patch. I love it when it looks really neat, before the weeds start to appear. The garlic is looking good, the onions are in and the potatoes are in bud, ready to go in soon.
And so the season begins.

Thanks for your lovely comments. The Bergenias are really good this year. I think it was the mild start to the season.
The Primulas were from Barbara's garden. They have done really well too. I put in some white ones that I bought, but there is no sign of them.
I like to fill some pots with Tulips and put them on the rustic bench where it is sheltered and I can look out the window and see them. There are some lovely purple ones open now.

Every one of these photos is beautiful. I love the primula's colour too, it is such a pretty pale blue.
Your tulips are looking lovely.

Yes spring has arrived in your garden, very colourful Linda, I cannot keep the white Denticulata here at all, bought some new ones again last year but no signs of any of them, yours is a lovely shade, mine are the mauve ones, now those I've had in the garden for many years...

Your garden looks great,Linda! yes, spring is here & don't we know it! All the spring bulbs on the balcony have been out in full force for a few weeks but earlier that I expected which will leave a few weeks at the end of next months with next to on colour - from spring flowers but plenty from the Geraniums! 😀

What a great clump of Primulas. I can't grow the denticulatas for some reason.(Well there is one rather spindly one that's appeared after several years of nothing...) You have some lovely flowers there.
Good luck with the veg patch. I've been weeding mine today too - did it in the autumn but you would never know, its had to be dug all over again and I am TIRED.

Getting a good clump of Primulas made a difference, Stera. As I said the white ones have disappeared.
I find the digging at the veg patch hard work too. We have to suffer for our veg!!!!

What a lovely blog! I love your tulips. And is that a primula denticulata? I’ve not come across that colour...will look out for it. Your Bergenia is stunning. Whenever I see Bergenia anywhere, I always think of you. X
