We have had so much rain here in Glasgow I have webbed feet.
Hopefully some good weather is coming our way and then we are off to Sweden. There is always lots of gardening to do in Sweden so I will write a blog when I come back.
Here are some photos before I was rained off.

Love the begonia Linda. Your crocosmia path is very inviting..up the secret steps. Enjoy your stay in Sweden. X

Oh that pathway of steps is delightful. Lovely colour mix of orange white and blue flowers, gentle but cheery.

Beautiful planting Linda! Some really gorgeous flowers and colours. Agree with Karen, love the steps with crocosmia at the edges. Enjoy your trip to Sweden!

I can vouch for the rain in Glasgow. I've just spent two nights in a hotel there, before and after a trip to Dumfries and Galloway, and it rained the whole time

We were in Troon for a few days and yes, it really did rain! Very autumnal in fact!
Your garden has benefitted from a downpour or two though and it looks so fresh and colourful.
We too have daisies and crocosmia growing together which does look pretty.
Enjoy your time in Sweden.

Thank you everyone. The rain does keep everything green but the front lawn has rust due to too much rain and lack of nitrogen.I have raked it lightly and will feed it then add a bit of grass seed. The dry weather will be a welcome break for me and the grass.

We are always a few weeks behind England. The further south the greater the difference. My son is in London and enjoys a hotter and longer season. Sweden is more like London in the summer but has a shorter season. They seem to come out of winter in May. September is usually good in Sweden but 16 degrees is average. It has less rain than Scotland.
John and his partner Abi have built a large fenced garden to grow vegetables next year in raised beds. I will be helping them to set it up.

Sweden sounds an ideal place to live, how lucky you are to have your son over there......(ʘᴗʘ✿)

I just love it there. The people are wonderful and John's neighbours are very reliable. They help each other.
