Not just green now!

When I joined GoY in April, I said I wanted to turn my boring green space into a colourful place to be. Well please indulge me, here are a few photos of my back garden so far.
Coming on nicely, the borders are brand new so not tons of colour this year, but next year should be a riot!

Thanks Michaella, I know it's wishing my life away, but I can't wait to see it next year, lol.

Mandy, that reminds me of mine when I first started! What a transformation, it's wonderful, especially love the Betula of course, I do have a thing for them! Enjoy! I also love your different levels. I bet that was a whole lot of work for you, it's great!

Not boring now Mandy, its looking a treat....
When it comes to our gardens I think we are all very impatient and tend to want the months to go quickly so we can see how well everything is doing, trouble is when the seasons are coming to an end we want to turn back time. Oh well they do say "there`s nowt as queer as folk"..lol.

It takes time for plants to settle in, so by next year you should have lots of colour.

I am very impressed by your hard work, you have created a lovely garden which obviously will never be finished as there is always new planting which will alter as you go along. just enjoy each day and new delights will meet your eyes.

I'm looking forward to seeing how your garden continues to develop, Mandy. It looks so good in your photos above. How long had your plants been in the ground? I've got empty borders which I'll be planting up as soon as our turf is down (hopefully within the next 2 or 3 weeks) and I'm wondering how long it's taken your garden to fill out so nicely.
