Put to bed? I wish I looked a quarter of good when I'd gone to bed! It looks as lovely as ever.

It's not so bad once we take off our specs, Stera.... I know how you feel!

Meadow, your garden looks so well-kept and beautifully laid out. Such lovely plants still to enjoy in the colder months.

Ang I always keep my glasses on so that I have a false sense of being...if you know what I mean!....
Thank you DD.....I have one small project in mind for January when the blues set in....something Carol showed us this week in her programme....have to find a strawberry pot first.

your garden is looking wonderful at this time of year. very restful looking, it may not look ready for bed but I do as I have had an early bath after trying to rake up all the beech leaves!

You’re getting ready to ‘hibernate’ for the cold, darker days ahead, Julia.
It’s looking beautiful as ever, no matter the time of year. You always have much green interest…lots of different textures and shapes. Year round cheer! It would certainly help anyone beat the blues in winter. 😊

Oh,Eileen, a job, in the past,I haven't liked. After having such good compost from bagging then last year,I have more enthusiasm doing it now,but still laborious....a hot bath would be inviting.

Thanks,Kate.....your very kind....the trees beyond our front garden will soon be losing their leaves allowing us a lovely view of the fields into which, the local farmer has moved his sheep.

I hope he puts them there again after lambing - lovely to hear the little high pitched "Meeehs!" in early Spring!

I can echo exactly what Feverfew has written. It all looks so very neat and tidy and is rich in colour. It will look good for quite some time I think.
