More Blossoms

The recent lovely weather has encouraged more Blossom to burst forth
First the Amelanchier
A closer look – love the contrast with the brown leaves
Japanese Quince – Chaenomeles was not far behind
Lovely Orange blooms like a Japanese painting
Rather late this year the Forsythia growing wild through next door’s conifers
But a welcoming bright yellow down by the gate
Magnolia Stellata
Now the clouds are gathering and it seems the cooler weather is about to return – the blossom will be all the more welcome.

All very pretty. it will be a shock to the plants when the weather suddenly turns cold again. i hope the wind doesn't bow the flowers off the Stellata, its so attractive. Mine's dropping now.

Thank you Steragram, my Cherry Blossom is falling like confetti sadly, but everything else is so far holding it's own despite the chill breeze today.

Glorious blossoms, isn't the quince beautiful, so vibrant, our cherrys just stsrting to blossom so hope it lasts.....confetti is a good description when it drops, the worst is westerly wind and rain, covers the windows in pink!

We had rain last night,so the plants got a good watering, and much needed, but this morning it is beautiful sunshine, and blue skies..maybe a shower later this afternoon, but a chilly frosty night forecast..My seedlings are out in the fresh air,but they will be back in the cold frame tonight...

Very attractive isn't it, our forecast predicts a huge drop in temps for the next few days as well, I do like your view and your Amelanchier looks grand against the backdrop....
