Snow has gone ,yesterday a little sleet
Hands up ,who has ever seen a Sparrow snowbathing ??

Maybe he was hopping along and then suddenly fell in !! lol

Its a first for me Deida but looks as though he is liking it!

Gorgeous, trying to clean his feathers, proberbly could nt find water to clean the dirt of his wings as if they are dirty they cannot fly.

He must be Scandinavian !!!

Never seen snow bathing deida, great pic:-) I was amazed when it was freezing to see a blackbird in the bird bath after I had poured boiling water on to melt the ice so they could drink. By the time he went it it must have been so cold brrrr, I wonder how they heat up again?:-)

Ther's no way he's Scandinavian Louise, if he was he would be without feathers and thrashing himself with Birch twigs.

Not seen that Deida, in fact when we had snow my birds were hovering above it unsure about landing on the fluffy stuff!
