Hazel catkins

Ooooh....thats a good sign!....I hope lol.....

Its so great to see these...I took some pics today of some Barbara.......really shows Spring is round the corner....:o)

I have some as well ... I never manage to get very many of the nuts though , the squirrels take care of them ....

not long now.......

There are REAL lambs in the fields around here - I must try to get a photo of them. :-))

We have some very tight catkins on our twisted hazel. The snowdrops are nearly flowering and it's 0.6 outside. BRRRRRR

I looked at mine hopefully yesterday, but no signs on that. It is only a baby one still, and last year it had TWO catkins....sweet! ;-)

They look great Barbara, just like all males, showing off. Can you see the female flower?, she should have her red lipstick on.

I wish I could, Docbob - but as they are dangling rather high up over the fence, I'd need a ladder! I hate ladders. :-((((
