Hope it decides on this one Janey its a lovely broght colour just perfect for Baby Blue Tits. I have also seen some checking out boxes at the front and back, hope they choose the front as I can see the box clearly from the lounge window and although its been up 4 yrs no one has nested there. We put a Robin birdbox at the but havent seen any visitors yet are Robins later than the Blue Tits?

Thanks everyone...:o) I was surprised at them as I'd read that nesting birds like their sites to be as natural as possible and nothing brightly painted...keeping my finger's crossed though.....:o)

Amy has posted a pic of a pair of Robins Carole....I think most of the birds are getting ready now....they must be fed up like us with the cold long winter...:o(
Which way does your nest-box face Carole....I think they like north facing best so the sun doesn't get to heat the interior.

Lovely to see this Janey....ours checking out boxes too. One pair have been using a box as a winter roost..just happened to see them disappear in at dusk one evening !

Lol...You have the right idea ! Used to it myself in the background...low...funnily enough Ray went down south in December for a couple of days,and on the Saturday I actually put Match of the Day on just out of habit !!! LOL Made the evening seem "normal" if you know what I mean ! Crazy !

Thanks Janey, my box is facing north so fingers crossed, a Robin as been around for most of the day and managed to get a picture of it which is good for me lol

nice capture..lol tried unsuccessfully to get pics of mine for the last two years but got a dslr so hope to get loads of pics of the wee one,s emerging from the nest this year.

Ooooh that will be great UN, I would just love to watch them up close!
