very pleasing to the eye. The Spring has sprung the grass is riz, I wonder where the birdies is, The birds on the wing but that's absurd the wings on the bird.

He loved poetry....and stories....always giving us a scary ghost story before we went to bed.....Mary on One Step...crikey that got us going....by the time he was on the top step we were nearly sick with fear...hows that for good parenting...Lol!!

I think your dad's stories should be written down to keep in the family. He sounds a great person.

That's kind Linda....he was a very quiet man, with a head full of stories....like Johnny Morris and Beatrix Potter, he made animals come alive with jokey stories....:o)

I write stories about my cat Twinkle and her adventures with all the local cats and wildlife and sell them for the cat's protection at Dalberry lees where Twinkle came from. I'm working on the 4th booklet that will be out just before Christmas as she meets Father Christmas, snow dragons and badgers. I've got to edit them and that takes a long time with the help of Gerry. I am painting pictures to go into it as well. We print them ourselves three stories into a booklet and ask for a donation of £2 for each booklet and every penny goes to help the cats.If anyone wants any please privately e-mail me on the GOY box. I think that you could do something with those stories.....just a thought Janey.

No snow here Janey and it's looking sunny this morning. Terrible accident - puts all my gardening moans into perspective. So sad. :(

That's good news Karen...........the poor families of those schoolchildren and teachers....all to go to Alton Towers, if only they'd cancelled...:o(

Hi Janey. No rain in Essex today, but it's still cold! Sunshine and 15 degrees forecast for this week, so perhaps I'll be able to get out into the garden while I'm on holiday from school. There's so much to do out there!
