Yellow lupins

These are in the front garden and are untouched by pests. The lupins in my back garden are not doing as well. One plant was doing OK but the ducks have decided to sit on it for some reason so it is well and truly flattened now.

Confession time! I didn't know there were different sorts of lupins - I grew these from seed last year and they have come back much bigger this year so I hope they are perennial. I don't want to start all over again :)

It's a beautiful, healthy looking plant - I've never managed that with lupins, the slugs always beat me.
